Studio Gang Pavilion

One of many shots I've taken of the Studio Gang Pavilion at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. The pavilion is extraordinary in its ability to be interesting as a whole, and as a seemingly infinite numbers of steps down to its smallest detail.

down the road a piece, a train actually came along this line. i saw it as i crossed the tracks from the other side, so i stopped and got some pics as it came through. i was MUCH closer to it when it first came. there are two sets of tracks about 40 feet apart and i was between them shooting as it came into view.
