Inappropriate title...
when i started this, i had only my iPhone 4 for a camera. i had a lot of cool apps that really pulled the most out of that little 5.5 mp, digital zoom only camera, but it wouldn't capture much of what i wanted. thanks to my sisters, i now have a Canon S5 point and shoot to use. Angela gave Georgia her dslr, and i was given this to use. it's a big step up, obviously, but it also forces me to learn the things i'll need to know when i eventually get my dslr. this S5 has manual controls for ISO, shutter speed, exposure, etc. i can work on learning each of these settings on their own, as well as how they function in harmony together. i spent a few hours yesterday walking the Lincoln Park Zoo and Conservatory here in chicago. i got some shots i really like, but i mostly learned how much i have yet to learn. i also have some heavy studying to do on basic photo editing in photoshop. i want to take pictures that are not made by editing, but i a...
